About the Artist
Brenda Gardner is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.  Upon graduation, she began her career in Scenic Art (the painting of scenery for theatre, television, and film) with an internship at the Tony Award-winning Utah Shakespearean Festival.  She then spent several years with Syracuse Stage while spending summers in Maine, New Jersey, Utah, and New York doing summerstock.

In 2004, she moved to Atlanta with her husband and has done freelance painting for several theatres including Theatre in the Square, Jewish Theatre of the South, and the Horizon Theatre.  She has also done painting work at The Weather Channel and Turner Studios.  In 2005, she ventured out into the realm of residential murals and faux finishing.  Her extensive experience with various media and techniques gives her a unique approach to home applications.

Brenda is a member of the Stencil Artisans League, Inc.  She lives in Marietta, Ga., with her husband and her dog.
